Support Green Bay's Growing Artists Initiative!

MATCHING DONATION AVAILABLE NOW THROUGH APRIL 15TH

Each summer, The Art Garage opens its doors to over 200 young artists, ages 6-16, during our Youth Summer Art Workshops (SAW) and last year we noticed that the kids in our own near east side neighborhood would love to take part in the workshops, but are generally strapped for funds to support their artistic growth. This is where you come in—we have started to reach out to members of our community and their organizations to sponsor a child (or several children) in our annual "Green Bay's Growing Artists" initiative.

During this initiative, your organization’s donation of $100-$200 per young artist will provide young artists with new materials and the opportunity to expand their knowledge while exploring creative expression under the guidance of our artist-instructors. We have a variety of multi-day workshops, ranging in cost from $85 for 2 days, $125 for 3 days, and $210 for a week-long workshop. Your contribution is 100% tax deductible as The Art Garage is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to sponsor 2-3 youths per workshop, which would amount to providing this special opportunity to over 60 youths who would have otherwise been restricted by income or financial challenges at home.

As a token of our appreciation for your donation, you will receive a personal invitation to join us in August for the opening of our 2024 Student Workshop Exhibition, celebrating a selection of artwork created by these young artists. Donors like you and your organization will also be featured on our wall as Sponsors to Green Bay's Growing Artists!

Want to donate another amount? As little as $20 can provide materials in a workshop for underprivileged and/or underserved individuals. $50-$85 can sponsor a child to attend a pop-up workshop. $150 can go toward an easel and other new supplies to make our creative space the best around!
