We are committed to demonstrating that Olde Main Street is a welcoming, positive and safe environment for all. Furthermore, our arts, cultural, and creative programming are crucial to the development of life skills, soft skills, and communication skills among members of our community.
In an effort to remove barriers and make art accessible to all, we do not charge admission to our gallery, our artist receptions or various events throughout the year. Funding and sponsorship is needed to cover these costs, as well as money to support emerging visual artists in our gallery and musical performances. While we charge a fee for our art workshops, we offer discounts and scholarships to youth, seniors, and low-income families. We can’t do this without the help of our supporters!
This summer we launched Green Bay's Growing Artists Initiative, which invites organizations and individuals to donate in increments of $100 to provide young artists with the means and the opportunity to expand their knowledge while exploring creative expression under the guidance of our artist-instructors over the course of a multi-day workshop. Each $100 contribution opens the door to one underprivileged child from our community, and for $2500 you can sponsor free workshops for the month. Your contribution to this fund is 100% tax deductible, and includes a feature on our wall of sponsors at the public opening of our Student Workshop Exhibition in the fall, where you and donors like you are recognized alongside selected artwork from the Youth Summer Art Workshops (SAW.)
From all of us here at The Art Garage we would like to express our gratitude and deepest appreciation to those who support The Art Garage through participation, donations, volunteering, and advocating for the arts.
