January is refresh month for our staff and instructors. During this time we are available every Wednesday (weather-permitting) in Studio B for our weekly sketch nights and supply swap from 5-8pm.

  • Weekly Sketch | Wednesdays 5-8pm

    NOW THROUGH MAY 27TH | Wednesdays are for artists! Keep your art practice fresh and make a few friends along the way with the Weekly Sketch at the Art Garage. Sketch nights are free and open to all artists (and the art curious!) Drop in between 5-8pm for open sketch set-ups that will vary each week. We'll supply the set-up, and tables and chairs as needed. Bring your art supplies and settle in for some quality sketching!

    Sketch nights are geared for ages 18+, and self-guided without instructors. Artists are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages. Artist facilitator: Tania Nelson

  • Creative Reuse Shop | Weds-Sun

    All through February our gift shop will be rellocated to Studio B and include a creative reuse section, where artists can hunt for thrifted and found ephemera, supplies and inspiration!

    Some of the creative reuse items include beach glass, wooden letter forms, organic objects, fabric supplies, thingamabobs, whachamacallits and that next best thing to spark your creative making. Available by the penny or by the pound!

  • Booth Staging | Feb 21st & 22nd

    FEB 21st, 1:30-5:30p OR FEB 22nd, 11a-3p
    Need photos of your booth for art festival applications? Join us in Studio B for a free staging day event. We will have several tables out and a 10' x 10' area cleared for you to set up booths for photo shoots. This space is most conducive to indoor booth set-ups, but we will include options in the late spring for outdoor tent staging.

    Space is limited, so please sign up for a time slot to ensure availability. Event is free, but a product donation to our giftshop, or a few dollars in our donation bin are always welcome.
