Our workshops offer experiences for a variety of skill levels and ages.  

Workshops take place in Studio B at 1429 Main Street in Green Bay, WI 54302.

    Two amazing orgs are teaming up to bring you a Halloween like never before--find out what happens when the visual and performing arts collide at our inaugural Halloween Party and benefit!

    The ART: Enter to win the 50/50 pumpkin contest with your one-of-a-kind created, carved or painted masterpiece! $10 entry, $1 votes, and the WINNER will go home with half of the proceeds!

    The PERFORMANCE: All costumed participants receive two free raffle tickets! $10 and you can be considered for any of the costume categories, with $1 votes cast until 9p.

  • NOV 1-2 | Weekend Artist-in-Residence

    The Art Garage welcomes artist and storyteller Gina Cornejo for this weekend of visual, literary and performing arts during our Halloween Masquerade and Día de los Muertos celebration. For each of these events, we invite you to pay what you can, with a suggested amount of $10 to support this residency and more visiting artist programming to come!

    SATURDAY, NOV 1ST, 10AM-3PM | Find your next favorite read at The Art Garage! Our National Author's Day Bookfair features local and regional authors who would love to share their work with you. Dodge the big box and online stores to show your dedication to support the talented authors in our own backyard!

  • Mixed Media Monthly | Oct 28th 5-8pm

    Join us for some mixed-media fun in Studio B! This unstructured meet-up is perfect for artists of any skill level who want to experiment and connect with others in the community. Choose from a curated selection of mixed mediums with high-quality paints, papers, and other bits to create playful art explorations. Art Garage staffer and Green Bay artist Tania Nelson will be on hand to offer tips, tricks and prompts from her years of mixed-media experience. Bring your own art journal to work in, or make a simple one from papers we have on hand.

    During this session, Tania will demonstrate a gelli plate print for the group!

  • Weekly Sketch | Wednesdays 5-8pm

    OCT 29TH - MAY 27TH | Wednesdays are for artists! Keep your art practice fresh and make a few friends along the way with the Weekly Sketch at the Art Garage. Sketch nights are free and open to all artists (and the art curious!) Drop in between 5-8pm for open sketch set-ups that will vary each week. We'll supply the set-up, and tables and chairs as needed. Bring your art supplies and settle in for some quality sketching!

    Sketch nights are geared for ages 18+, and self-guided without instructors. Artists are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages. Artist facilitator: Tania Nelson
