Ceramic Vases: Hand-carving + Handbuilding | Oct 23rd + Oct 30th, 6-8pm

Learn to build pottery by hand as you create a one-of-a-kind piece!

In this two-part workshop, pottery artist Karen Eckberg will provide you with step-by-step instructions to handbuild your own ceramic vase. In week one, we will focus on carving designs into linoleum blocks that can be used to create an intricate pattern on your vase. In week two, we will work with a slab of clay to create the vase form using approximately a pound of clay, basic pottery tools, and slip glazes to add that pop of color. 

Your ticket includes all the materials you will need each week, as well as a complimentary adult beverage or mocktail and light refreshments. Any pieces made during the workshop are yours to keep after undergoing the firing process.

Please note, this workshop is for ages 21+ | workshop: minimum 5 attendees, maximum 12.
