About the Artist:

Natalie Novak is a 2023 graduate from the University of Florida Gainesville, currently teaching painting and drawing at UWGB as this year’s artist in residence, as well as teaching as a Visual Arts Instructor at the Fine Arts Institute at East High School. Novak’s works will be on display from March 20th through April 10th.

 

About the Show:

Unbounded: A Solo Exhibition includes mesmerizing drawings and a beautiful hanging sculpture as Novak's work explores the idea of free-floating, growing up as a girl, and shares a multitude of rights of passage from girlhood through her work. Her representation of what it means to be "unbounded" will welcome you into the world of girlhood, and what it is like to be free-floating.
