Workshop Description
In this class we will be focused on carving and decorating your very own wooden figurine. This workshop will include learning the basic cuts, pyrography safety, techniques, how to plan and execute and carving, and how to decorate and finish a carving.
Instructor Biography
Tommy Mlodzik was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, and is a recent UW - Green Bay Art and Design graduate. His specialities include ceramics, illustration, crocheting, balloon sculpture and carving. Inspiration for him comes from natural forms, the ergonomics of the hand, human beings, and everyday interactions.
