Pour Painting is a fascinating fluid painting technique. Acrylic paint is mixed and poured on to a surface in a variety of ways.
Students will learn color theory and how it applies to pour painting. They will experiment with a variety of techniques, tools and surfaces to achieve amazing results, and they don't even need a paint brush!
I believe art is a part of everyone's life. The more you learn about art, through art history, aesthetics, criticism, and art-making, the more you can understand and enjoy it. I graduated in 1987 from UW-Milwaukee, receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a teaching certification. I have taught in several Green Bay Schools and was the Regional Vice President of the Wisconsin Art Education Association, and the Youth Art Month Co-Chair. I am currently teaching at the Rahr West Art Museum as well as The Art Garage.
