Workshop Description 
Drawing will be encouraged with the use of oil and chalk pastels. Emphasis is on composition, color blending and color relationship. Students will create dimensional qualities in their composition through the blending and building up of color. Stressing the importance of placement, overlapping, shading and tinting.

Instructor Biography 
I believe art is a part of everyone's life. The more you learn about art, through art history, aesthetics, criticism, and art-making, the more you can understand and enjoy it. I graduated in 1987 from UW-Milwaukee, receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a teaching certification. I have taught in several Green Bay Schools and was the Regional Vice President of the Wisconsin Art Education Association, and the Youth Art Month Co-Chair. I am currently teaching at the Rahr West Art Museum as well as The Art Garage.
