Workshop Description
Build your drawing skills and confidence with this developmental drawing class. You will build upon the concepts of scale, perspective, value, and creating visual interest while developing various sketching and drawing methods. Several drawing mediums and styles will be a part of this process. The approach to this class will be relaxed and non- intimidating, allowing students to develop at their own pace with guidance as needed. Join us for a relaxing class exploring the benefits of learning to see then relax to draw!

Workshop supplies are NOT included with the registration fee. Students are REQUIRED to bring the following:

  • 6 Pencil Set - This set includes one each of 8B, 6B, 4B, 2B, HB and 2H
  • Kneaded Rubber Eraser
  • Sketchbook, 9x12"
  • Black Fine Sharpie Pen

Instructor Biography
My professional history is rooted in design. Beginning with a BFA in Design, I spent the first part of my career in Graphic Design. Later, I chose to teach while developing my studio work, which led to my decision to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Visual Studies. At present, I teach various Studio Art courses in the Green Bay/Fox Valley area. Currently, my studio is based in Green Bay WI, where I strive to produce an ongoing variety of original and commission works. My current collection of work can be viewed at:
