Workshop Description
Students will learn how to draw, dress and even write Hieroglyphs like an Egyptian!
Learn why they made mummies. Students can make their own pyramid and an Egyptian mask.
Instructor Biography
I believe art is a part of everyone's life. The more you learn about art, through art history, aesthetics, criticism, and art-making, the more you can understand and enjoy it. I graduated in 1987 from UW-Milwaukee, receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a teaching certification. I have taught in several Green Bay Schools and was the Regional Vice President of the Wisconsin Art Education Association, and the Youth Art Month Co-Chair. I am currently teaching at the Rahr West Art Museum as well as The Art Garage.
