Workshop Description
"On Safari, exotic flowers, wild animals, dense jungle!"
Students will learn about Henri Rousseau, an artist known for his jungle pictures. Then they will go on their own Safari, creating their own mixed media jungle art!
Instructor Biography
I believe art is a part of everyone's life. The more you learn about art, through art history, aesthetics, criticism, and art-making, the more you can understand and enjoy it. I graduated in 1987 from UW-Milwaukee, receiving a Bachelor's in Fine Arts with a teaching certification. I have taught in several Green Bay Schools and was the Regional Vice President of the Wisconsin Art Education Association, and the Youth Art Month Co-Chair. I am currently teaching at the Rahr West Art Museum as well as The Art Garage.
