Art Night Out
Fluid Exploration: Abstract Acrylic Painting
About the Workshop:
This one-night class introduces techniques behind the incredible organized chaos that is fluid abstraction. By exploring acrylic, water, and color in a new way, students will create a work of art that is a beautiful combination of self-expression and an art piece with its own intention. Participants are encouraged to come with friends, family, and loved ones, and can prepare to be a part of a collective, creative experience.
About the Instructor:
Cal Krawczyk is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, studying both drawing and painting. In the midst of his college career, he has arguably mastered his own fluid painting work, some of which currently hangs in the gallery of the ARTgarage. His work expresses wonder, happiness, and overall acceptance of self through an art medium which has no rules. Cal's work and teaching style is full of life, as well as it is a combination of craft mastery and self-acceptance.
