Workshop Description

Come to the Art Garage to be creative and learn about mask making! Students will start by a going through the different kinds of masks, how they are used, what is important in each mask, and some easy mask making techniques. Then, students will start by making a plaster mask out of colorful plaster strips! Depending on styles, students can choose what kind of color and techniques they wish to use to add color to their mask including painting and/or coloring. Finally, students will continue by adding decorations like hair, teeth, eyes, etc to their mask!

Workshop Description
Michelle Heraly-Bonde is an Art Instructor currently working at the Rahr West Art Museum in Manitowoc. She has been teaching art since receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1987. She has been making art ever since she can remember!
