art monoprint printmaking

I develop images by exploring the dynamics of edges. I am interested in the friction at boundaries where generational, cultural, political, and individual perspectives collide. The push and pull of contradictory truths inspire me. My prints hint of the humor, flexibility, and accommodation needed to navigate

competing interests.  I experiment extensively with plate inking and wiping until I find the technique that brings an image to life.  The prints often reinterpret mundane or ordinary subjects, illuminating them with unexpected magnitude. My goal is to create images that resonate with a memory or personal experience.
