Art is commonly seen from within a rectangular or square frame – even a frame within a frame as we view art via a computer, television, or theatrical stage. And yet, the circular form is a constant presence in nature, mathematics, music, art, and science. Artists who work using a circular form ask us to view the world differently – as an infinite rather than linear universe.
