Laura uses her watercolor and acrylic paintings to capture beauty and to inspire viewers. Laura says that she exhibits her artwork primarily because she wants people to see her work and enjoy it, and that she loves creating art to give to her family and friends as gifts. “Beauty is what I’m after,” Laura says of her work. When creating, she describes herself as totally absorbed and “in” the picture. A graduate of the Washington School of Art with high honors, Laura is exhibiting her art again this summer for the first time in about 30 years.
