 | chris style Chris Style is an Associate Professor in Arts & Visual Design at UW-Green Bay where she teaches printmaking and drawing. Chris received her Bachelor degree in art from UW-Madison and her Master of Fine Arts degree from UW-Milwaukee in printmaking. She moved her fine art printing press to the ARTgarage to develop more community interest in art through printmaking and to provide her a studio to use and explore new non-toxic and environmentally friendly inks and materials. Her studio at the ARTgarage uses Akua and Akua intaglio inks (www.waterbasedinks.com), which are all water-base yet have the extended working times of oils. Chris invites you to stop in to see her studio and she will hold various printmaking classes including Monotype/Monoprint, Solarplate Intaglio and Relief workshops. Classes will have a maximum of 2-3 students per each 1-3 day workshop throughout the year. Look for the classes under our adult classes and sign up and see how printmaking can enhance your artmaking. |
