Every organization needs them…those Very Important Volunteers! Cedar Center Arts, Inc. has volunteer positions available in a number of interesting areas. Please fill out the patron contribution form below, check the volunteer box and we will contact you to discuss how you would like to be a part of the arts today!

the ARTgarage VIV opportunities

Gallery Docents – Meet and greet customers, tell them about our mission, the artwork and the artists, answer phones, do simple office projects. We prefer at least a three-hour block of time on a weekly schedule.

Gallery Maintenance – Help with monthly dusting, window cleaning, filling nail holes, painting walls, and overall making the place look good!

Performances – Help setting up chairs and tables, food set up, greet people at the doors, clean-up after performance. First Saturday of each month and occasionally at other performance events, as able.

Office Help – Keep files organized, data entry, mailings. Once a month for a two-hour shift.

Summer Art Workshop for Kids – Ten day program

Room Set-up/Clean-up – Help get materials together, set-up tables and chairs, clean-up after classes. One day or a number of days.

Registration & Greeter – Greet students and parents as they arrive, check their names off, give them name tags. One day or a number of days.

Teaching Assistants – Work side-by-side with the art teachers, help the students, run for materials, etc. One day or a number of days.

Special Community or Fundraising Events

These will include big and small projects; sign up for an event without an extended commitment. Spring Patrons Gala (A Starry, Starry, Night), On Broadway Farmer’s Market on Wednesday nights in the summer, ARTSTREET and Arti Gras booths are just some of the possibilities.
