For Joe, art is a way to be himself and develop his own techniques.  It is this originality that he hopes viewers will appreciate when they experience his oils exhibit at the ARTgarage starting in July. 

Joe describes the process of creating art as magic.  “You don’t know when you put an idea on canvas how you’re going to finish it, but then you do,” he said, adding that finally finishing a project is “like being born.”
